Taken outside our house.  Please excuse me for the electric lines showing up in the photo.  I can't do anything about it.

sunday photo find

Candle (top view) - taken for a photography class - June 2009

Take this candle to light your path,
As you transverse the road paths of life.

In light there is darkness,
With despair comes hope.

sunday photo find

A look into the Aeta village, Zoobic Safari Tour, Subic, Zambales - Dec 2008

It's impressive to know that the Aetas still live a very simple life despite the advances in modern technology today. I enjoyed the tour actually as I got to learn basic survival techniques also =).

sunday photo find

Photo taken at the Corregidor Hospital ruins, Dec 2008.

I love taking b&w photos. I don't know why but it appeals to me more. The shot above is kinda gloomy, well, creepy as a matter of fact. Hubby was very brave exploring Corregidor ruins all by himself not only on broad daylight, but even during night time. I can't, for the life of me, do that. The place really creeps me out, probably, because of the island's history. However, i still LOVE the place. KUDOS! to Sun Cruises for a verrrry nice tour, probably, the best tour I experienced here in the Phils. :)

sunday photo find

Photo taken from our Nanay's garden in Bulacan, Sept 2008.

One of my first ever macro shots using my semi-SLR camera. See how a tiny water droplet bring beauty to a photo. Turns out, even small things can make a big impact. =)

sunday photo find

Photo taken at the Mt. Tapyas summit in Coron, Palawan, Nov 2008.

Photo taken outside our house, Oct 2008.
Disregard the electric lines, I can't do anything to remove it... hehehe.. :)

Sunset evokes a lot of different meanings to different folks. It may signify an end, finality, closure, sadness.

I actually like sunsets, it's the time of the day that I can finally slow down and take a deep, long breath after an extremely busy and stressful day.

Just like a rainbow after a rain, sunrise follows after a sunset, it's the start of a new day, it's a new beginning.

***edited to include another sunset shot :) .
